Level 2 Floristry Apprenticeship coming September 2024
Wigan and Leigh College are the largest College provider of apprenticeships in Greater Manchester, offering more than 50 different apprenticeship pathways to suit your ability. They work with more than 1,500 employers in the local area and have a range of tutors that support apprentices throughout their journey.
An Apprenticeship is a full-time job that includes gaining recognised qualifications and essential skills while earning a wage. It provides you with the skills, confidence, qualifications and knowledge to establish a career within your chosen industry.
Apprenticeships can take between one and four years to complete depending on the level of apprenticeship, the apprentices’ ability and the industry sector.
Are you an established florist within the local area?
In order for the new apprenticeship to be as successful as Wigan and Leigh College know it can be, they are seeking the guidance and advice of established florists within the local areas.
They are holding a session Monday 15th April from 3:30pm at Parsons Walk Campus, Wigan. Within this session they will discuss how the apprenticeship will run, funding and incentives available as well as a QA session for all attendees and college staff.
