Whatever you need flowers for, dianthus (commonly called carnations) are the perfect choice for every application, occasion and trend. With an extensive colour palette, an average vase life of 10 to 15 days and its various flowering shapes, the carnation is the flower to bring creations together and make them shine.
The different flowering shapes are:
Single-flowered carnations
Double-flowered carnations
Semi-double carnations

Tip!
If you want to remove carnations from the sleeve, don't pull the sleeve down. Cut the sleeve completely open vertically and fold it to the side. Just by pulling the sleeve down all the way, the stems break easily, because the petals of the stem stay 'stuck' to the sleeve. The petals pull the flower head down with them. Result: snap!
