Prepare to be amazed as a castle in Belgium is transformed by talented floral artists from all over the world creating more than 50 incredible installations.
Because they'll be joining forces to turn the Grand Commandery of Alden Biesen into a floral dreamscape.
The theme of the Fleur Floral Fashion by Fleuramour event this year is ‘A Castle Deserves Art’. And true to the title, the castle of Alden Biesen will be decorated with extraordinary floral art for five days.
More than 25 floral artists have already confirmed their participation at Fleur Floral Fashion; including Moniek Vanden Berghe, Sören Van Laer and Charlotte Bartholomé who will let their creativity run wild on the theme and will present spectacular floral work that mimics an art exhibition.
Other master floral artists like Chantal Post, Ioachim Erema, Ivan Bergh, Mike Boerma, Peter Boeijkens, Kristina Rimiené, Jimmy Englund and Conny van der Westerlaken will present sensational and colourful flower creations.
And even if you aren't on the design team you can show off your own artistry by taking part in one of two competitions: a bridal bouquet with artistic touches (only for professionals) and a floral haute couture dress (for professionals and enthusiasts). But don't worry if you can't physically attend ... you can participate in the competitions online! And if that isn't enough and you can be there it's Hat Day on Friday .... a chance to go mad and maybe win a prize!
