The Good Florist Guide membership team put together an infographic to explain why flowers are so expensive and some varieties not available.
As part of The Florist Magazine family … both are owned by Purple Spotted Media ... GFG decided to share it with the whole UK industry via their Facebook channels. Little did they know how far the message would spread or how many times it would be shared.
Because the feedback was amazing … a reach running into six figures and nearly 700 shares on Facebook alone, never mind the fact it was picked up and promoted on several key industry leaders’ pages from around the world as one to watch. A second version, designed specifically for Instagram, gained similar traction and feedback.
Commenting on the results Caroline Marshall-Foster, Editor of Florist Magazine said: “Having watched how florists around the world were struggling to explain to customers why it was so tricky we wanted to put it all in one place so they could share … we just didn’t think it would be shared so much. We’re delighted that we’ve been able to help at a time when floristry is more challenging than ever.”
