Schedule 2: Table for two inspired by nature
Duration: 90 minutes
This was the first schedule to be tackled in the competition marquee with an early 8.15am start. The competitors were able to bring in their own tables and accessories, the only restriction being that the design should not exceed 2m x 2m ground space. On the day, their task was then to add in the fresh materials.
Sounds straightforward, but under pressure things can be very different, this was a big space to fill and, no matter how much practise is done beforehand, there is nothing quite like doing it for real on the day.
