Interflora has announced its new Floristry Trade Club; a dedicated, florist focussed information and support service, that will launch online later this month. The trade club will be open for anyone in the floral industry to join.
Packed with articles, videos and webinars, the goal of the Floristry Trade Club is to be THE RESOURCES HUB for the industry and deliver news, insight, inspiration, practical training and advice to help UK and Irish florists build their floristry career, skills and business.
“The last few years have been tough. Florists have seen the challenges of Brexit, difficult high street trading conditions, more competitors in the floral and gifting market as well as a global pandemic!” says Nick Priest, Interflora’s Florist Segment Director and visionary behind the Floristry Trade Club.
“We’re building an easily accessible place that gives florists and their staff access to the most up-to-date content that they could ever need to make their business successful and thrive. It’s a place where we can encourage people who are thinking about a career in floristry to come and explore what our amazing industry has to offer.”
Powered by Interflora but open to everyone, the club brings together a number of contributors and specialist partners to provide business support services and expert advice on the legal and financial elements of running a business and practical solutions to staffing, training and health and wellbeing issues. There’ll also be inspirational floristry content, as well as views and news from the UK and beyond.
The Interflora Floristry Trade Club will also provide a new home for The Florist Magazine; the eyes, ears and voice of the floriculture industry since 1949. The support doesn’t end there as the club has also joined the British Retail Consortium to champion the floristry industry at the highest levels.
