International Woman’s Day and Mothering Sunday are only two days apart this year. So although this is a double celebratory weekend for all women, it makes buying a real headache as flower prices will be high to match the demand across Europe and beyond.
Their proximity does however make an excellent case to promote indoor plants as gifts. Some of your customers may be visiting you for the first time and not all of them may be plant experts, but that doesn’t mean they have to go away empty handed.
Bearing in mind that most people only tend to ask two questions when it comes to houseplants; "where can I put it?" and "how often do I water it?", the Floristry Trade Club has put together a handy guide to help your non-green fingered customer choose the right one for them, with a top five of the most popular green and flowering indoor plants.
