It’s almost guaranteed that around every Valentine’s Day someone, somewhere will declare that the red rose is so ‘last year’ and that pink is now the new red, so to speak. Whether you would get your average consumer on the street to believe that is another matter. It would be a brave man who, having sent a dozen red roses for years to his other half could stand his ground and justify anything different from what is after all, the worldwide recognised symbol of true love.
