Local independent florist, Sonning Flowers, has scooped up the much-sought-after Wedding Florist of the Year award at this year’s prestigious National Wedding Industry Awards.
This news comes after the Berkshire-based florist, a member of the prestigious Good Florist Guide, was crowned top of its class in the regional heat, taking home Wedding Florist of the Year for the South Central of England at the end of January 2022, before heading to the National final in London.
Competition was stiff, with the winners of regional heats in Yorkshire & North East, North West, West Midlands, East Midlands, East of England, South East and South West all competing for the coveted National winner’s trophy – only for Sonning Flower’s to take home the win.
Heather Reilly, owner of Sonning Flowers, said: “We are absolutely delighted and just can't believe it! It’s the icing on the cake after winning Best Florist in Berkshire at the Muddy Stilettos Awards for 2021. We never dreamed of winning another award six months later.
