Sustainability: RHS Tatton Park Flower Show 2024

This year’s crop of talented floral artists were challenged to create an installation reflecting the theme of ‘Raise Awareness’. Each florist was able to demonstrate the thought-provoking power of flowers to tell stories and inspire change, with show-stopping creations.

Representing a myriad of topics and good causes from choirs to waterways, endometriosis to sheep's wool in gardening, one aspect of awareness ran throughout the different designs: sustainable floristry techniques.

Sustainable techniques on show included the use of chicken wire, moss, test tubes, re-used and reusable glassware. Learn more about the technical practices the designers used to create their displays and keep them hydrated through the show.
