Judith Blacklock is the author of 18 bestselling books. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Horticulture, for whom she designed a medal-winning stand at Chelsea Flower Show. She has taught floral design in many continents. Judith successfully ran one of the most prestigious flower schools in the world for 25 years in London. From the end of August 2024 she will be focussing on the online courses.
Judith has been teaching flower arranging around the world for more than 40 years. She likes to think it gives her experience rather than a dated view point. She gave in-person courses from her Flower School in Knightsbridge for 25 years and decided that the time is right to concentrate on her highly acclaimed online courses.
In conjunction with the Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) Judith has created a video demonstrating a 100% recyclable, compostable wreath. Over the past couple of years these have been presented at the Cenotaph by many famous dignitaries including Sir Tim Laurence. Plastic is no longer used for the poppies but the red dye does cause a problem in that it can leave dye stains on stone.
