Veevers Carter welcomes Joanna Rhodes as new MD


Joanna Rhodes has been appointed as Managing Director of Veevers Carter, where she will lead the artistic approach and strategic direction of the award-winning floral design studio.


Established in 1986, Veevers Carter is renowned for making the ordinary extraordinary and enhancing the theatre of events, from the RHS Chelsea Flower Show to luxury weddings, fashion shows, private parties, and corporate engagements.


Joanna brings over 15 years of industry experience to her new role, having previously headed luxury floral design firm Hayford & Rhodes as Managing Director. Utilising her creative talents as a fine artist, Joanna developed that brand into a design-led, artisanal, and highly approachable florist.


At Veevers Carter, Joanna will fuse her considerable floral creativity with event styling to devise exceptional and innovative experiences, while tapping into her extensive array of client and industry relationships.


Commenting on her appointment Joanna said, “I am so delighted to join the talented Veevers Carter team. One of my key goals is to maintain our high-quality of work, whilst upholding the core values on which the company has been built.

Ming, who established the company in 1986 and has played an integral leadership role when it became part of the the Event Concept Group in 2017 will move into an expanded advisory role.
